Baccalaureate study program Pharmacy is designed to provide students
with thorough study in the filed of pharmacy based on variety of the
aspects of it. Students will also study general fundamental fields of
Medicine as science, will get acquainted with principles of
Pharmacology, Pharmacy-gnosis, Bio-Pharmacy, Pharmacy-dynamics,
Pharmacy-Kinetics, Biotransformation, and Bioethics.
Students will have to study management
of Pharmacy Business, Pharmacy production, Drug Making technologies, and
Social Pharmacy. Besides, students will study principles of Clinical
Medicine, Public Health, Main human body pathologies, infections, and
oncology diseases. In order to complete the study course of pharmacy
successfully, its curriculum is drawn for 4 years with complete number
of credits that are 240 credits of the program. Alumni of the faculty
should be able to use gained knowledge to identify and fluctuate diverse
pathological signs in human body structure and physiology, biochemistry;
to select and use drugs from several groups; to classify pharmacy
companies; to keep drugs appropriately, realization, safety rules, and
accuracy; to apply knowledge of principles of pharmaceutical and
clinical toxicology.
She/or he as
alumna/us of the program, should be able to demonstrate safe working
skills in pharmacy laboratories and enterprises, and to use main data of
Pharmacy Chemistry, Analytical and Physcoloidchemistry. Acquiring
knowledge of pharmacy production and skills of pharmacy management and
methodology is essential part of the programs.
An alumna/us of the
faculty of Public Healthcare/Pharmacy Field will be able to be placed in
any type of pharmacy company as a pharmacist such as at chemist’s shop,
pharmacy factory or enterprise shop, pharmaceutical basis, etc. Students
finishing baccalaureate programme at the academy can continue their
studies at graduate level of Master’s degree program to further develop
professionally and support ther career development.
Students successfully participate in regional performance contests among
schools, as well as in sports competitions.
